stuck in aoi blink

ok... i try to play aoi blink but something's wrong, maybe i'm a noob or something so i need your help...

i'm using the newest magicengine provided in this site.. and i successfully load aoi blink... i got all my buttons configured, everything's under control... but till the first screen, which is 3 ppl in the house and a NPC in the middle... the NPC will start a chat box when i apporach him... and he's speakin like what the retro games do... after the box's filled with words, a "down" arrow blinked in the box, indicatin tht i should [ress something to continue the speak... but i rammed my kerboard... and nothing happen, i still stucked with his unfisnihed words and yeah... i can't continue to play....

so i need a lil help from u... tell me what i'd done wrong =..=" pls?

I think theres some type of translation patch for Aoi Blink out there some where.I tried patchin it to the game one time,it didnt seem work.Anyways that may be able to help ya.

Aoi Blink works fine here, you just have to press button I to end the dialog, but may be you have a bad dump of the ROM, what is the size of the ROM you have? It should be 384KB.

Actually, this happened to me in the emulator YAME as well. The bus wouldn't come on-screen at the start, and/or I couldn't skip past the first dialogue box. Strange...

No problem with Aoi Blink in Magic Engine, though this could be a RAM clearing problem or something... Maybe the game doesn't initialize a delay somewhere?
