|
|
I've searched the forum, and I've found the method to boot ROMs from the command line, but not CDs. In old posts, the ability to boot CDs from the command line was promised "in the next version."
Is this feature present in ME 1.0 PR10, and if so, what is the command to be used on the command line?
I'm trying to use the frontend, Maximus Arcade with Magic Engine.
Thank you in advance! |

Yes, this feature is present in ME 1.0. To start a CD game from the command line just run the emulator with a System Card ROM, like this : 'pce.exe syscard3.pce'. What is not possible yet though is to choose the CD-ROM drive from the command line, ME will auto-select the first drive that has a PCE CD in it. _________________ David Michel |

I see, simply load the syscard3 ROM . . .
I tried it, and this screen appeared:
I have a pce CD mounted on virtual drive F, which is the first drive with a pce CD in it. |

Hmm, this works fine here, I have only one CD-ROM drive though, so may be there's a problem with the auto-drive detection. Try to force the drive to F: by changing the 'drive_letter' in the pce.ini file, just set it to 'drive_letter=F'. _________________ David Michel |
