I still have a few things to tweak and the localization to do, but yes it will be ready very very soon. I'm planning the release for next week-end. _________________ David Michel |

You will love it. Just some things David must fix first. I can tell you he is working very hard to get this done. It will be done very soon. _________________ Thanks

It's difficult to announce an exact day, I was targeting sunday night but I found a little problem today with the fullscreen mode, I am trying to fix it. _________________ David Michel |

I'm probably out of place saying this, but everyone here sounds like a broken record. It sounds like all these guys are spokesmen for David. "Patient please be. David hard at work very."
If your all bored, go bug Haze and the MAME team about CPS3 |

Not to be a jerk or anything crims0n, but constantly asking for a specific release date is considered by most software developers to be very bad form.
Just ask Richard Bannister. He used to get flooded by similar emails asking when they could expect him to fix a certain bug or when a new version of a program was to be expected. Several times he has had to take a break to re-evaluate if his hobby was really worth all the headaches as well as to keep from going off on the world in general. (I suspect that he STILL has to deal with this issue, but I'm not brave enough to bring up the subject, lest it be the final straw that makes him call it quits for good.)
All I can ask and suggest is that you just relax and wait. I've been waiting for about 2 years now, but even then I was trying to help, by doing my own tests and experiments to figure out why cd-rom support was not working under first OS 9.x (see Magic Engine and Mac OS 9.x for the answer) and then Classic (and probably driving poor David up the wall in the process). As soon as David is ready he will post that the software is available. BUT, even then, it could get pulled away immediately because of last minute bugs or additions....

Nope, you aren't out of place. But it IS hard to think of things to say when people keep asking the same question over and over (just changing the words and layout occasionally).
See the post above this one. |

Meh, I only use MAME to play arcade games I grew up with in the 80's. I really could care less about CPS3 or any of the other kinds of encryption. |

Latest news!
I have finished everything but I have found a little problem with the key file, this doesn't look too difficult to fix though, so this shouldn't take a long time. _________________ David Michel |
