Just a hello after a few years
I purchased ME many years ago, and have long left the Windows world. I now run Ubuntu, and tried ME under Wine the other night. Lo and behold, it works 100% perfectly, even down to the joypad being recognized. Just figured I'd pop in and let everyone that does not already know it. So, you can still purchase and run this fantastic emulator even if you are running Linux |

Yes you can but wine does not offer transparent virtualization of the windows api's. For instance my p366 ran ME perfect under win98 but after I moved over to linux, ME through wine ran absolutely horrible. You need to be much above the system requirements for it to run as desired. The same computer running windows will not run ME the same on linux with wine, that should be noted at least. |

Your only option on ppc linux would probably be Mednafen. It offers good compatibility, but has high system requirements to do it. |
