Yesterday I downloaded a rom of dragon slayer and tried to get it to start. it started fine but once it finished the new game cutscene it froze
after getting past the first piece of text. The game only runs on the magic system 3.0 I posted about it in the forums on the rom site and they suggested I ask here. any thoughts? |

You can direct your attention to other forums where these topics are not taboo, e.g., Snesorama. |

I am sorry for bringing up this old issue. First of all I would like to introduce myself as a Turbo Grafx friend from Germany and a newbie to this forum. Hello to all! 
I am having the same trouble running dragon slayer (original CD ROM), which runs flawlessly on my machine. Since both the machine and the CD are from the US (there is no German version of either of them), it cannot be due to a different version, and since it runs in the machine, the CD should not be corrupt. I am running the latest version of ME. Is there any clue how to solve this problem? I would be grateful for any help! Thanks in advance!

I solved the problem by choosing card 3 in the config file and setting the path to this system file. Thanks nonetheless for reading!
