I REALLY REALLY love the new Magic Engine David/Cedric!!!!!! Thanks for all your hard work, and MOST importantly, your dedication to keep improving an already kick butt emulator, when most people quit, or interest dies, once it is "good enough".
Hats off to you, and a huge salute for very impressive labor. I pray your fruits of labor are abundant! KUDOS! _________________ The J'lord! |

Hello, since I have already purchased the full version of 1.00, how will I be able to use the new versions (1.1 and 1.2) with no restrictions? |

Install the new version in a new directory, and copy your key file (PCE.KEY or KEY.DAT) in this directory. _________________ David Michel |

My only gripe with the latest version is that it still doesn't support, nor does it have the option to support, the 16-sprites-per-line limitation. Otherwise, this is pretty darn good. _________________ Frozen Utopia

I've said it many times, but MagicEngine is the only piece of shareware/demoware I have ever paid for. Worth every penny a thousand times over - I am just glad I bought it before the Euro got so strong!!!
Free lifetime upgrades? You guys just rock.
My card has S-Video out to the TV, my next big project is to see how different a "real" Duo is from what I see on my TV via S-Video.
I did have a Duo at one time and the games I had look identical...
Plus, it's nice not to have to turn filters on and let the TV take care of the picture (hehe) =)
Thanks again, David and Cedric. What would we do without you guys?

Yeah, I have to say Dave, 10+ years since I bought Magic Engine it's been Awesome. Heh I remember there was that time when I couldn't play CD-Rom games through Magic Engine in windows 95/98 unless I exited Windows and went into pure ms-dos. Man was I happy when Magic Engine finally emulated CD-Rom games in windows. |

BTW I don't know if this fact is already well-known, but I'm now able to play Record of Lodoss War I on ME (no more freeze on the title screen): so I'm very happy. Besides that, I really REALLY appreciate the new design and features of ME: so much more user-friendly (though the previous versions were not to be ashamed of, the latest improvements are great: you didn't waste your time, David!).
Well, thanks a lot for this great job and please keep up the good work! |
