How in the world did they get around trademark infringment? Makes you wonder how hard would this be to do for the pce duo? just putting this out there.
the systems name is retro duo?

Very Interesting. That's a very good question, I almost hope Nintendo finds about about the guy and drills him to the fullest extent of the law. All I know is I won't bother with the thing. I sold all my games when I discovered emulators. |

Why? Using a trademarked product name in a description of another product's functionality isn't a violation of the trademark. It's not like it's named "RetroNintendo" or something. |

just seems nintendo would have a heart attack because someone had released hardware that played there software.
My biggest question is why nobody has made one of these that plays pc engine/tg16 software. |

I believe someone has. There were quite a few cheaply made consoles put out that played Hu-Cards. I believe they were mainly in China though. I cant remember where I seen this... Could have been on Wiki-pedia. |

So it's actually legal to make hardware the plays someone else's software? I had no idea. I wonder what would happen if Nintendo came out with a system that plays Playstation 2 games. |

has something to do with trademarks running out by time. Nintendo didnt renew there trademark on snes so allowed companies to make copies of there hardware.
Software is a diffrent question I believe?
I did find some chinese copies of pc engine system. Links provided below.
How hard would it be to build something like a duo? I know the processor shouldnt be very expensive considering age plus cd rom drives are very inexpensive ?
