I always thought PCE had collision detection problems. This week I played a real PCE for the first time and none of the issues that I saw in Magic Engine were to be found in the real system.
You guys have screwed up the code from day 1. Megic Emgone is not an accurate emu. You guys give PCE a bad name. |

Dude.... Its an emulator. And as far as emulator goes, its one of the best out there. Of course a PCengine would play a game perfectly. An emulator only does what it can do... Emulate.... I own both a PCengine and a Turbo Duo. Very rarely do I notice a difference that is enough to say "I'd rather play this game on my actual hardware." A lot of us here have been into PCengine games and hardware for a long time. I believe your opinion of not liking the emulator is fine, but dont attack it. Its not perfect, but is damn close. After spending some hard earned cash on some repairs to your PCengine, you may feel a little different about using Magic Engine. Thats my main reason for using it, to save on my hardware. |

Its not close there is massive timing problems with the emu.
MAME is an example of a good emulator or Ootake. |

Well, we all have opinions. And we all know there are people that cant be pleased and want to bitch about something. So, with that in mind... I respect your opinion. Have a nice day. |

@ Dakonishi
I've been playing PCE games for twenty years and betatesting ME for seven years. Yes this emulator is not perfect (no emulator is), but what does make you qualified to say that ME gives the PCE a bad name? Two days of "first time discovery"?

Which issues? At least take the time to elaborate on those. _________________ Kaminarimon HES Music Archive | Tokugawa Corporation | YouTube Channel |

If you think you could do a better job, I'd certainly like to see it. |

ME may not be cycle-accurate (I'm not sure whether it is or isn't) but in my experience it:
1) is the most compatible with games
2) seems to have the most robust CD support
3) has worked reliably and smoothly
It's good enough for me to have bought it twice

Sounds like the kind of person who could win the lottery, and still complain about having to drive an hour to pick up the check |

@dakonishi
Dude MagicEngine is the closes thing to the real deal.
My only problem is they need to work out the bugs in detecting
USB DVD-Drives.
Anyway If you don't like ME then stop whining and buy a real dirt cheap
TurboDuo off of Ebay. !! |
