read sector 3890...
- error, could not read sector! (3890)
...3890 (1)
what could be causing this error. i ahve burned games for other systems/emus in the past using cue sheets and never had a problem like this.
another note, i finally tried daemon tonite and the game plays flawless. i wish i would have known of it sooner.
it is possible that my cd-r drive is incompatiable with reading s-cd games? |

Have you tried re-downloading it? is this an iso/mp3 or a cue/bin? I bet it's the former
Examine your cue file. What's the first pregap? is it 00:03:05 or 00:03:00? im guessing you have 3:05, try with 3:00 on a cd-rw.
Also, try using the best cd-r's you can find & burn at 1x. As a last resort, go ask the pros in this field : www.rigg.info _________________ If you translate Pole Position in French with babelfish you get 'Position de Polonais'... I think it's hilarious... from a French point of view. |

it is an iso/mp3...i have used numerous cuesheets, all with the 3:00 pregap. i also use memorex cdrs, which i have used for dreamcast, sega cd, and psx for years with no problems, and i never burn higher then 2x. i tried burning the game about 6 months ago then i had to reformat my hard drive cuz of some nasty virus and figured i would give it another go. i dunno, i think my burner might just be incompatiable with turbo games. i am going to try and burn sapphire before i confirm this though. |

Ah so you never burned a PCE game before... But, I think that PCE & Sega CD games are almost identical : Red book audio + data. They only differ in the placement of the data track ( first track for Sega CD vs. 2nd track ( plus last track on japanese cd's ) for PCE games ). Im guessing that since you were able to burn Sega CD games with your current burner that you could theoretically burn PCE games as well. So, I believe that your problem lies in a bad iso/mp3. You can always ask the individual responsible for this ripp for tips, or you could go there *hint* *hint* www.rigg.info
