Your best bet is to ask on the daemon tools forums about their software I think. Also, I'd read their FAQ for details.
Hope this helps! _________________ If you translate Pole Position in French with babelfish you get 'Position de Polonais'... I think it's hilarious... from a French point of view. |

Guess that Would but can you also Change the Drive Letter that this Emulator looks at for CD Drive? _________________ I am Da Man |

Look inside your PCE.INI (located inside your Magic Engine folder) and go to the cd-rom settings section. Once there the rest is pretty self-explainatory. Depending on your OS you will have to specify a drive letter or not. _________________ If you translate Pole Position in French with babelfish you get 'Position de Polonais'... I have added the Drive letter but still did not pick it up. Do I have to do something else? _________________ I am Da Man |

When I load a game I can only see the intro screen.I can not see a menu screen that will let me select and start the game. After intro screen I get a blank gray/ black screen and can only hear sound. The games have a cue and bin file, is this the correct format for the emulator?I load the cue file but it seems that it is the only file being accessed, not the bin file. What am I doing wrong.

I use Daemon Tools from time to time. It depends on which version of the emulator and does it supports multiple drives. With later versions of Magic Engine, the emulator does support mulitple drives, but have problems with reading directories. Earlier, versions only support one drive.
Another problem I ran into is, how some games do not read no matter what via Daemon tools. Try writing the game to an disc to see if it will pick up. The
speed of DT vs the emulator gives many issues.
The same could said about ePSXe or even Gens2 |
