I have notice that all my games havbe the same sound problem not only with ys 4 but with YS1&2 Valis 2 and some other games,ME seem to have a problem to switch from cd tracks to midi sound,anyone know how i could fix that ?

Try to modify your INI file like this:

; 0 -> first audio input line [default]
; 1 -> second audio input line

; (see the log.txt file to find out what are the line numbers)

cd_audio_input_line=

;
; enable debug log file
; --
; y -> enable [default]
; n -> disable
;

debug_log=y

Alright ! problem fixed i have left the cd audio input line blank it had 1 and i removed it now the games play perfectly ! Smile

Hi,

I am having the same problem with Ys. It can play music in outside areas but there there are no SFXs and the speech doesn't work. Cd audio input was allready blank. Anybody have an idea what to do?

Tried using the version 2 system disk and everything seems to work fine now. Anybody know where the first speech occurs so I'll know if that is working or not?
