Helo,
What is the best settings with a good PC for magic engine
for video, color, sound cpu etc ...
I compare with a real pc engine core grafx II and the color and speed are differents

Not sure about the speed but the rest of setting are very subjective. There's no one 'right' set up. Keep playing with it until you're happy with it!  |

For me i'm almost ok with :
video 1920x1080*32
Hres + (linear)
Vsync2
Fullscreen ratio off
Scanlines I
Gamma middle + 2
Contraste middle -2
Couleur Middle -3
Luminosite +3
Pc-e,gine overscan 239 lines (for 1941 great)
CPU 35 mhz
I'm waiting your best settings

The best settings is the lowest settings possible and taking advantage of any sound advancements. Mame itself tends to have a bunch of super sharp and super smooth settings. Removing them lets you see what the game really looks like. That is my personally opinion as I get tired of the Air-brushed look of the image advancement settings.
If you have a big HD screen it will not even matter as everything pans out because everything is made out of pixels ( unlike GBA games ). On an big HD display for the living room, the pixels will marge together. |
