Hi guys,

this question is quite self-explanatory, lol.
I wanna play Final Match Tennis against people in the world,
given I trained at lv.5 in the game, I'm pretty anxious Very Happy

Is this possible?

By the way, searched a lot in these forums but couldn't find a less-than-2002 answer. Sorry if this subject was posted before.

Thanks in advance and keep the work with this AWESOME emulator. This emu kiss asses to HuGO and all the others which are sh|t compared to this.

Cheers from Argentina! Very Happy

Leonardo.

1 problem. People on dial up will have some speed problem. For example. Fast ASDL vs Slow Dial up. There is noway slow speed can catch up on a fast speed. There will be some skipping around and other things. It best to have a friend at your house playing. Unless he make his own that can solve the speed issue.

OK I understand but what is better?

"Some problems but internet multiplayer" or "no problems at all cause of no multiplayer"?

All I mean is: If I would know how to make it multiplayer I would. If you don't want to have problems with multiplayer over Internet, by the time being just make sure you and your friend have an average fast connection.

By the way you don't need to have a fast connection in a game like, let's say Final Match Tennis:

It's enough with transmitting the keyboard hits, all the thinking and drawing can be made in the game itself. And unless you and your friend both press the 8 keys at a time, you'll not have more than 8 kbhits of data to transfer by frame.

Maybe some other games require more data control over Internet, dunno :/

It would be cool that this would get implemented no matter how evolved it is. I think it's better than nothing.

But well, don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing. Just telling what I think.. If I would know how to do it. Or at least if there was a way to implement an intermediate layer between 2 remote instances of the emu :/

My regards.
Leo.

Are there any news about the netplay feature?

How about intergrating KALLERIA into Magic engine, as with a majority of emulators that have this feature installed????

Kal, only problem is sync issues with the computer, speed. Meaning if one persons computer was fast and the other persons, computer was slow. The slower computer would be like the "Matrix Effect", where the other computer would see them moving too fast.

The same effect happens in "Phantasy Star" when you play the legitimate online game or cross linking, between platforms ( because all three are the same game, in a nutshell.
