I'm running ME-FX 1.0.1 and trying to play Pia Carrot with the patch provided.
It plays the pure Japanese file well, but doesn't play it when patched.
I've also tried using the PPF file but it doesn't seem to recognize it.
Does ME-FX 1.0.1 not recognize PPF files?
Is there a fix for it?
I get the "NO-CD" error with the newer versions of ME-FX and they crash on my system after a few moments so ME-FX 1.0.1 demo works best for me.
Help would be nice. Thanks! |

Had a talk with dmichel and we were able to solve the problem.
ME-FX 1.0.1 had an issue detecting PPF files which was fixed in the later versions (1.1.0, 1.1.1).
As for those who have issues with the "NO-CD" issue, here's a link provided with improved CD-ROM support:

| Hi Rayan I'm having problems getting the Pia Carrot to work on Magic Engine FX. I've tried both the pure japanese and translated images but all I ever get is a black screen. Could you help? |

| If neither the original Japanese nor the patched English version work then maybe something is wrong with your copy of Pia Carrot? |
