gradius 2 CD-ROM works fine--until i get to stage 3, then the game freezes. it always freezes in the exact same spot (20 or so seconds into stage 3).
gradius 2 isn't listed by michel on "known games that don't work", so ....
thanks for your help!!!! _________________ "GunHed has just gone over the speed limit!"

Hi,
Thanks for the report. You forgot to mention if it's an original game or a burnt copy. We can't deal with burnt copies as far as bug reports are concerned. Too many factors, too much hassle... (I really should copyright this tagline one of those days!) |

Last time I played Gradius II Gofer ( great game BTW ) I had no problems finishing it if I remember correctly. Original disc of course...
But then again, it was a long time ago so maybe, just maybe this game got broken since then? I doubt it though.
I could always play the game again.... Lord, give me strength! _________________ If you translate Pole Position in French with babelfish you get 'Position de Polonais'... I think it's hilarious... from a French point of view. |

Looks like the scratch damaged either the audio or data. You can do a search on the web about cd scratches but I doubt something can be done... _________________ If you translate Pole Position in French with babelfish you get 'Position de Polonais'... Have you tried the Skip/game doctor? It worked wonders for several PSX and music games that had been scratched like hell by my nephew. Some used game stores also buff CDs for a few bucks. If the gouge is deep, though, there could be no fix for it. Good luck.
