Love the Magic! But I'm having a bit of a problem when I try to use the video out on my computer to play games on the tv. Games run slooooow. The music is fine, but the graphics seem like they are in slow motion. Everything runs fine when I use ME on my computer without the tv. The computer displays everything at normal speed on the tv without ME running. Weirdness.
specs:
Windows 2k
Neomagic MagicMedia 256ZX Display adapter
S video out
Dell Latitude CPI notebook
anything i'm leaving out?
Thanks! |

Hi,
Make sure the vsync option is disabled in your PCE.INI file. |

I checked, it is disabled. Is it just too much of a drain on the processor? |

If the laptop is displaying both the LCD screen and the TV images, it might be too much for the CPU to handle. Try disabling the dual display option and use only one or another. My mom's Gateway laptop suffers from this problem. Though not my brother's IBM, and it's a slower machine. _________________ Proud owner of a Dreamcast, Saturn, Turbo Duo and a registered version of ME since 2002. |

Well, I tried to get the LCD to stop displaying during TV playback, but the darn thing won't do it. If I try to turn the LCD off while in TV mode, it reverts back to regular display without TV. I'm wondering why that option is even available. It's just toying with me...I can tell. |
