The code address is independant of the ROM header, the cheat engine patch the ROM after it has been loaded so address $0 is always the first address of the ROM.

BTW the code address is made of two parts, the first two hexa digits are the bank number (0x00-0xFF) and the last four digits are the address in the bank (0x0000-0x1FFF). The three most significant bits of the address are ignored too so addresses 0x1BEB and 0xFBEB are identical. I will try to write a small manual for the cheat engine soon.

Well, should be. As ME handles them correctly, as I now see that it does, that note is pointless now.
I had made ROM invincibility codes for other games such the bombermans and lot of shooters. I will try to post them after test them.
Heh, I see it now. There was an error with my rom, I forgot that my ROM was pathed by myself when I was doing some tests, that was the reason why I couldn't get the correct value at 01169B.
Odd, I removed the note I made, but not your edit, dmichel. If I accidentaly removed, sorry.
