I just wanted to pass if this rom file is needed to play any games in magic engine. I found out that this rom was required to play some pcengine games on the actual system. Can magic engine use this rom or does it already emulate it? |

The Ten no Koe Bank doesn't serve any purpose in Magic Engine, since the emulator creates a new Back-up RAM for every game.
Out of curiosity, which games specifically requiring a Ten no Koe Bank are you talking about? There is none I know of. On the other hand, I believe there's a couple of games that can't be played if you don't have a Memory Base 128 or a Save-Kun. |

I have played over 250 pc engine/Duo games, and none of them required the Ten no Koe Bank card.
To my knowledge, it only serves as a memory card to transfer data from your system => Ten no Koe Bank or vice versa.
I know there are many games that I have not played, so I could be wong, but I have yet to come across one that requires it.

i didn't know that there were any games that required anything save-kun, ten no koe etc-related. maybe i'm wrong...
the one purpose ten no koe does serve is that from memory it has some hidden save slots for some hudson games (bomberman is one i believe)
whether this can be used under ME, i know not |
