Seeing as though it is "resgistered. why not upgrade to the current version of Magic Engine? It "IS" registered under your name... right? Or are you here asking us how you can pirate an Old Copy of Magic Engine on the Magic Engine forum?

I say this just cause of the bug issues in the earlier versions, if you have a registered copy of it, you really should upgrade to the current version. It is free to upgrade provided you have a legit ME registration. Upgrading may cure your problem.

Easy. Just got to the main page: http://www.magicengine.com/uk_index.html

then go to the downloads section and choose what platform you wish to download. Move your reg file into the main directory of the uncompressed ME Directory, and presto.

If you have problems with the reg file not working with the newer version of ME, simply write to David with your Order information, and he will give you a new key if one is needed.

And it is called "pirate" if you have a registered copy of something that needs to be paid for in order to function uncrippled, and you have a fully functioning item that you never paid for. You do not need to be the one who distributes it, but if it is a pirate copy, then someone else distributed it to you (aka: on a warez page or emu page, they are easily found and most times reported back here.).

If you have any additional questions on how to obtain the upgrade, feel free to ask away here. If your reg file is a pirate version, then do not expect it to work in any future upgrades of ME as most pirate reg files are quickly blacklisted within ME.
