| I downloaded the image of Ys Books 1 and 2. I then burnt the image to a cd using Nero 6. I have Magic Engine v0.99. I tried using both the Magic Engine and System Cards to try and play the game. Yet, it keeps giving me a disc error. Can anyone please help me? |

Does the disc spin? If not, you may have to edit your pce.ini file to point to the right cdrom drive that you are using.
We need more info to properly explain what to do, but hopefully the above matter will help.

Hey Avenger Ive had the same problem recently when I tried to burn my Dracula X image on a CD, I think I know how you can solve the problem.
First of all youve gotta download a program called "Daemon Tools" then youve gotta mount the game image on Daemon Tools.After youve done that, youve gotta go to nero and select "copy a CD" and select the CD drive which youve mounted the image to, then you just click on burn...
Oh and btw, disable that cd-on-fly thing just in case it didnt work properly... |

| I've tried what you suggested, grey, but Magicengine says it isn't a PCE CD... Any suggestions? |

If you mount the image in daemon tools and it doesn't work, the I would assume that you have a bad image of the game.

| I see. Is there any particular program you'd reccomend for garnering an image from an original CD? |
