Hi, I'm new to MagicEngine and PC-Engine games. I had the same problem with no CD sound in Dracula X, but I found the tip in this forum about the analog/digital sound very useful, thanks 
I've set up the emulator, and I have Dracula X mounted in my virtual drive created by Alcohol 120%.
Setting for Alcohol's virtual drive:
Now the CD audio works fine |

Guys, I just joined this whole forum thing, so forgive me if I seem to be out the loop. I've been having the same sound problems as the guy who proposed the XP solution. I agree with Jabberwock that this is a dangerous solution. But I really, really hope the new version corrects this. From what I understand, Dracula X has some really nice music.
Incidentally, I just downloaded the new sound file from the main page. Looks like they took everyone but the nforce people into account. I mean...it didn't work for me. Too bad we'll have to wait.
