we are lucky. our darling PC-Engine has 3 excellent games.
-ranma 1: arcade
-ranma 2: adventure
-ranma 3: fight
I would like you to say your opinion about them. i am making a web page dedicated ONLY to ranma games, 14 in total (14!)
one more thing: ME is the best EMU for PCE, HU-GO is disgusting |

Hello!!
I have Ranma 1/2: Datou, Ganso Musabetsu Kakutou-ryuu! for the PC-Engine. It is imo a funny game for a while and the music is not that bad either. One of the better Ranma Games.
Sadly none of the Ranma Games I have played so far was very good. I have just bought some of these because I like the comics very much. IMO they better should have sold a licence to Capcom or SNK. The Ranma universe has a high potential to make good Beat em' ups based on the comics/animes, however it seems like never skilled programmer made the games.
I also have the Mega-CD game. Very boring, you just click through a very strange story and have a few battles based on Janken.
I played the Playstation game once and that looked very bad. For example it has no animesequences but uses rendered sequences instead. The game itself is a 3D Beat en' up. Funny for Ranma fans but really not good as a game itself. Better not compare it to Virtua Fighter |

I liked the Ranma RPG game for the SNES. The game plays similar to the Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior type games from the NES days but with the Ranma characters. The best part is that you can change Ranma from the boy version to the girl and at parts, it is essential to do so. Not only a great RPG game but a great Ranma game in general.

I remember the very catchy J-Pop jingle at the beginning of the first Ranma game, which i believe was in the other 2, but not as catchy sounding.
I still sing it to this day, and i have no idea what the fuck they are singing, but it's catchy. _________________ The J'lord! |
