At least for me, I an *CONFIG* the pad, so it reads the number of buttons. Just can't use it.
If you have problems, use joy2key. Not only can you use your joystick with me and any other emulator, you can configure save states and the like to buttons. Even the esc key to get the the menu. _________________ Routers, Security, Delphi programming, and dirty jokes, all in one! |

I don't understand how you map the buttons in the first place. When you click on the two directional buttons, it just brings up a sub-menu with the choices:
up/down
left/right
none
but how do you actually map the buttons to your controller? |

I have the same question in fact.
In fact i dont know which button of the pad is "BUTTON I" or "BUTTON II", etc. on the display (i have to go to the windows configuration panel and check out, then memorize, then return to ME...).
By the way i dont see any change from PR 2 to PR 3.
Here is my log. I have to joypad
1) GAMEPAD 0, a PC Propad 6 connected to my sounbdblaster sound card
2) GAMEPAD 1, a Gamecube Pad, connected via USB (Gamecube to USB connector)
Gamepad 0 is ok (but it's not very easy to change the default settings)
Gamepad 1 dont work (no change between PR2 and PR 3)

From left to right, top to bottom...
The first row of buttons is IV - V - VI, the second row is III - II - I. In case you only want to emulate a two-button pad, the correct order is II - I. The two buttons below are Select and Run. |
