Yup - I am having the same problem.
I have two joypads (and N64 and a PS2 pad connected via two different adaptors). Neither work and c combination of pulling them out and trying different things is failing to get the to work.
They used to work with the previous version of Magic Engine before version 1 (it was easier to configure them too). |

David, PLEASE look at fixing my quit problem.
I can't use your emulator, at the moment, as quitting involves the usual ctrl+alt+delete, end task. And because of this, all my gamepad settings are lost every time I use it.
I have paid for this emulator, BTW. |

You can quit with other ways : alt+tab -> right click on pce.exe on the task bar -> select close, or you can use alt+f4 too, and logicaly you should be able to navigate in the menu by using the keyboard cursor keys (press enter to select). I know it's an annoying problem but I have many other problems to fix too. Be patient. ^^; _________________ David Michel |

No comprendo, je ne comprend pô, i dont undestand...
I have 2 pads :
Gamepad 0 = PC Propad 6, connected via my soundblaster card (NO USB)
Works fine with
[GAMEPAD STATS]
gamepad 0 stats:
status: 0000
poll errors: 8007000c 0 0 0
poll: failed=0 success=1498
axes (2):
- 0: min=-5 max=11 [1498 (0 / 0)]
- 1: min=-16 max=1 [1498 (0 / 0)]
povs (0):
buttons (6):
- 0: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 1: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 2: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 3: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 4: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 5: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
Ok ok (but it's not easy to change the default setting because i have to memorize what is bouton 0, bouton 1, bouton 2..etc on my gamepad, for that i have to have a look at the windows control panel then return back to ME).
I also have a Gamecube pad connected via USB Connector
[GAMEPAD STATS]
gamepad 1 stats:
status: 0000
poll errors: 8007000c 0 0 0
poll: failed=0 success=1498
axes (4):
- 0: min=-11 max=1 [1498 (0 / 0)]
- 1: min=-10 max=0 [1498 (0 / 0)]
- 2: min=-11 max=1 [1498 (0 / 0)]
- 3: min=268435456 max=-268435456 [0 (0 / 0)]
povs (1):
- 0: min=-1 max=-1 [1498 (0 / 0 / 0 / 0)]
buttons (8 ):
- 0: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 1: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 2: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 3: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 4: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 5: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 6: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
- 7: off=1498 on=0 bitmask=00
It gives me that :
And i'm just like a rooster in front of a knife...
Just for info here is the panel control for the Gamecube pad under windows
Hope it will help. |
