| well, what layer should I install that works 100% with magic engine? adaptec? what ver? (I Know 4.70 has bugs,, but what about 4.71?) |

Which bugs? No problem here.
Which OS? Which CD-ROM bus? SCSI? ATAPI? |

If you are using Windows 2k or XP, an ASPI layer is not necessary, MagicEngine will work without it... just use the latest beta (v0.99b4).
