I'm having trouble getting CD audio at all for any CD games.
I mean, all the sound effect fine, but I'm not getting any CD audio.

However, I have plugged in a headphone into my CD-rom's headphone jack while playing, and I found the music is there, playing all by itself,
but obviously with no sound effect.

I've toggled around with config setup, but couldn't really find the right answer for combining CD audio and sound effects.
(Currently using .99 beta3, too lazy to upgrade... Wink

)

Here's my general computer configuration/spec...
(a high end Dell, at least what it used to be)

Intel P4 2Ghz, 512 RAM
Nvidia G4 Ti 128(?) VRAM
Win XP Home Ed.
Samsung DVD-ROM (D: drive)
NEC CD-RW (E: drive)
Santa Cruz Turtle Beach soundcard
Altec 5.1 Channel speakers

Any tips or solutions for this problem would be greatly appreciated!
(perhaps my sound card is having trouble with Magic Engine?)

Much thanks to you, Kaminari - I found the source of the problem.
My CD connection to soundcard inside of my PC cabinet was not connected. When I connected and set the CD audio to 3 (I think), everything was great sans minor bugs. However, even those bugs were gone (I was having black screen hanging problem until the CD audio is finished whether muted or not muted) with new 9.9 beta 5. Smile
