Greetings all,
I'm having a problem where Magic Engine crashes my main computer. It starts with a blue screen of death (the XP version) where it mentions a problem accessing an address in vax347b.sys, and it then begins dumping the memory, before resetting.
I'm running Windows XP SP2, on an AthlonXP 2600+ cpu, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 video card, GA-7VT600-1394 motherboard.
It did this with PR8, and is still doing it with PR10. I assume PR8 was using OpenGL, and PR10 is using DirectX.
Anyone else having this problem?
It runs fine on the computer I keep hooked up to my TV, an older 700mhz Celeron system. |

heh, did a little searching around, and found the problem to be related to having Alcohol 120% installed.
Uninstalled that, and I no longer have the problem!  |
