Sweet!
- Loom
Hmm, I thought it would be centered with PR6, how it was with older PR?
- Galaxy Fraulein Yuna - HuVideo CD (J)
I know what's wrong, it's an easy fix. _________________ David Michel |

Was this way with PR3
On a side note , could an option to take snapshot at a forced 256x224 resolution be possible to add ?
Would be usefull _________________

Steam Heart's (J)
Unless you press run to skip the intro chat when starting level 1 , the game will crash the emulator to this point:

Spriggan is still crashing right after start screen. No log to show because of a nasty exception..
No such crash prob at start with my other CD games (Valis 2, 3, 4, Spriggan Mk 2, Puyo Puyo 2, Gate of Thunder, etc...) |

Minor CD glitch in Loom:
Ok, first the theory. This game is used to load from the data track a lot; when it happens and an audio track is playing, the PC Engine doesn't just stop the track, it actually fades it out, then stops it, goes to the data track, retrieves the required information for the next room, remembers the sector where it stopped the audio track, and plays it back from there by doing a fade-in.
All of this works neat in ME, except that the audio track starts back about one second before it should, like if ME was playing back from the wrong sector or something. You can test this at the very beginning of the game, by walking down the cliff when the music is playing, or by listening to the Council of the Elders (lots of unnecessary loading here, another sloppy QA job from Lucas!). |

Minor generic audio CD problem in many RPGs:
Fade-ins from PSG to CD work great, but fade-outs from CD to PSG are very steep (the volume of the CD track is abruptly muted when it should actually fade). Examples: Emerald Dragon, Kabuki Den, Manjimaru... |

I fixed the crash problem of Spriggan.
This might fix Jantei Monogatari III and Steam Hearts crash too, but I couldn't test those. _________________ David Michel |

I have to report that Super Raiden works perfectly with PR 6. Was able to play it till the end, and no problems whatsoever. My USB joypad sometimes stuck in one direction after switching from another (from up to diagonal up-right, and then to right) for a second until I let go, but I suspect this is more a windows issue. Only happened once or twice. _________________ Proud owner of a Dreamcast, Saturn, Turbo Duo and a registered version of ME since 2002. |

It still happens to me as well, though it's very occasional (but can be deadly at times!). I tried fiddling with the calibration options, but I suspect those only work for analog pads. |

Same joypad issue here (as I mentioned in another thread).
It's a rather annoying problem that seems to occur only in ME 1.0 PRx.
I'll have a butchers tonight at v.099b5 to check if this version suffered from this "bug?". |
