Bugs described in this thread for these games are fixed with PR7 :

- Shadow of the Beast (J)
- Shadow of the Beast (U)
- Summer Carnival '93 - Nexzr Special (J)
Loom's curent display with PR7 , no change with PR6:
Remaining buggy games with PR7:
Loading a save state having a different resolution of the curent screen still won't restore the proper display
- Galaxy Fraulein Yuna - HuVideo CD (J)
Video freeze at the very beginning and won't play further but can be skipped pressing run.
- Jantei Monogatari III - Saver Angels (J)
Crash the emulator at boot. (works fine with 099b5).
- Magical Fantasy Adventure - Popful Mail (J) At some point the intro gfx get messed up:
- Mirai Shonen Conan (J)
The game will crash at the end of the cutscene that is played when starting a new game.
Trying to skip it won't solve the issue.
- Moonlight Lady (J)
Freeze to this point when starting a new game:
- Mugen Senshi Valis - Legend of a Fantasm Soldier (J)
Second half of the intro is completly out of synch (old 099b5 bug)
- Snatcher - Pilot Disk (J)
Won't pass the title screen:
You can still access the options menu pressing "run" at the freezing screen.
Steam Heart's (J)
Unless you press run to skip the intro chat when starting level 1 , the game will crash the emulator to this point:
- Strider Hiryuu (J)
In game Gfx corruption:
- Tenchi wo Kurau (J)
Display is not properly centered
099b5:

Manjimaru:
The green raster on the battle screens is not displayed, just leaving a black background [reported by Byun Suk Jae]. Looks like a similar bug to Soldier Blade's title screen? |

Yup, I think it's the same problem as Soldier Blade. I will fix this one soon.
- Moonlight Lady (J)
Square, does the game freeze just at the end of an audio track? _________________ David Michel |

Gunbuster Vol.1
At the selection screen the chibi characters' voice sync is way off. When you choose start, the machine interface comes up and then the voiceover starts to loop as the visual pans across a newspaper. I haven't been able to get out of the loop.
Cyber City Oedo
Game freezes is you choose new game from the opening menu
Dragonball Z
If you choose Freza from the characters the games freezes up in his intro when the spaceship destroys the two planets. |

Givenbak, seems like something's not quite right with your system.
Cyber City Oedo 808: runs mighty fine from PR1 through PR7.
DBZ: no problem either with Frieza's intro.
Gunbuster 1: voice sync is fine here, but I confirm the looping PCM issue when starting a new game. |

Hmm... I am running it on my old laptop which could be the prob. It's not exactly up to specs.
However I thought I'd mention Dragon ball Z since it doesn't have any probs with 99b5 on the same laptop. |

this is something I am hoping might be able to be corrected somehow in the final version...Anyways, Ranma 1 runs with the magic cards in version 99...BUT, there is no ground...you basically keep falling to your death immediately upon start of the game...!!! I would love to see this game actually work in the final release...if at all possible... _________________ Each Day Is Better Than The Next... |

Dragon Ball Z is fine with 099b5 , and so is with 1.0 (just tried).
Are you using an original cd or a backup , cause it sounds like you're using a bad backup , certainly iso/mp3 one. _________________

When I use ME099b5 I can only see the Prologue CG , and if I press any key it will replay the CG but not enter game;
When I use ME1.0 and above just black screen.
But I can play Dragon Ball Z with the emulator "Yame038J" and the same backup(iso+mp3). |

Just keep in mind that using a faulty backup , mainly improper iso/mp3 rip ,bring nothing but emulation issues that won't occure with an original CD or correct backup.
Regarding if it works more or less with xx or yy emulator , a bad dump remains a bad dump.
Some games are very picky because they load data/audio from hardcoded sectors.
Sectors content is messed up with an iso/mp3 rip resulting in a non working/crashing game or out of synch audio game.
Dragon Ball Z is one of those picky games.
So if you want to properly enjoy the game and the emulator , either buy an original copy of the game or look for a proper redump.
To make it short , before reporting a CD game emulation issue , make sure you're using a proper CD to avoid reporting false bugs simply due to to the fact you're using a bad dump. _________________

Square is dead right -- and he knows what he's talking about
We can't stress enough the fact that we don't need bug reports based on burnt copies, unless you know from Square's TOC databases that your copy is perfect. Having to deal with false reports just adds confusion to what really works right or not in the emulator. And on a side note, it's not because Yame is very forgiving with bad rips that ME has to.

There's no Power Soccer. Do you mean Power Eleven? It works great. Double check that you're not using a corrupted ROM or a bad dump. And this is the CD thread, not the HuCard one |
