Is there a way to fprce Magic Engine to use a lower card? I heard if you use a 1 or 2 ver. card, Dracula X will do something. I wanted to see it.

Change the system card type from "Auto" to whatever card you want. It's in the cdrom menu, you have to click the down arrow to see it though because it's collapsed by default.

| Dracula X has probably the best lower card display. Thers actually a little bit of gameplay. |

Dracula X PC Engine SysCard 2.1 or Less FAQ/Review
Richter can Whip on the ground. Richter cannot whip in air. Zombies die in one hit. Richter cannot die, but he can be knocked back. If a Zombie reaches the leftmost wall, it dies. At the complete right is Maria. Once you get to Maria, you cannot scroll back. Maria Says "Sorry". There is a message about using syscard 3.0 in the background. Maria will go the the oposite side and jump up and down. At the peak of her jump she will flutter her arms.
Graphics 6/10
Sound 7/10
Gameplay 4/10
Replay 2/10
Overall 5/10 |

Are you the same Keranu that gave Ys IV a 10/10?
Good stuff, best sprite based movies I've seen on any system. I refuse to burn my PS2 though. It let me play SotN when my computer was down.
PS: Sorry about being off topic, and there is a translation for Ys IV for PCE now. |

Are you referring to that terrible, terrible review I wrote on GameFAQs four years ago  ? If so, yes that's me (sadly). I still give the game a 10 out of 10 simply because it's that fine of a game  .

Wth?,your givin dracula x a 5.As long where rating games here.Anybody ever played Ds:The Legend Of Heroes?.I give that game about 2/10.The only enjoyment I got out of it,was the hilariously bad voice acting.
