Is it possible to toggle the Font/graphics overlays in MEFX.

I'm wanting to create a fight scene with Battle Heat and I don't want the overlays of the health and stuff in the way?


If it's not - are there any utilities to be be able to view the video from the discs themselves?

No, there's no function to turn layers on/off.

There are a few utilities to extract/play videos, I remember one for Voice Paradise, but I dunno if there's one for Battle Heat. Try on this site :
