So I have this Nvidia card with S-video out to my television; I've turned all the filters off and it looks fantastic. Call me obcessive, but I'd like to see how close it is to having a real Duo.
Anyone in the Salt Lake City/UT area care to come over with their Duo for a comparison? =]

I actually have a DUO, and there is a difference. How much depends on the game. A lot of the CD games that have speech, and animation, you will notice a very slight difference. Almost like a faint bizz sound in between tracks. Very slight I may add. Also, the color appears to be a little better on the actual DUO. This by no means is saying that ME is not good at what it does. It just means that, it is an emulator. However, it does a VERY good job. I actually prefer it for two reasons. One, the DUO has limited storage space for game saves. Two, it saves my original hardware. Certain games, like Strider, I have to actually play on my DUO. This game has graphic problems when playing on ME. As far as Hu-Card games, I play all on ME. Barely a visible difference. |
