|
|
I actually have two physical optical drives on my system, and one virtual drive via Daemon Tools. The two physical drives are E and Z, and the virtual drive is F.
The Z drive is a USB DVD burner, and it doesn't appear in Magic Engine at all. Even attempting to force it to use the Z drive does nothing. I have included a copy of the log text.
The log text is from a test run where I had made sure Magic Engine could see anything at all by reimaging my Dracula X CD off the Z drive using Nero, then ran Magic Engine off the fresh image on the F drive.
Any ideas on what I can do? I've tried installing ASPI in the hopes that might fix the problem, but that didn't do much of anything.

With the latest ME version, try fiddling with the CD-ROM Driver option in the config file:
Quote: | ;
; CD-ROM driver
; --
; 0 -> auto-detect [default]
; 1 -> SPTI (WinNT)
; 2 -> ASPI
;
driver=0 |
Switch between ASPI and SPTI, maybe that will help detect your USB drive. _________________ Kaminarimon HES Music Archive | Tokugawa Corporation | YouTube Channel |

I have a somewhat similar problem with my USB DVD-Drive (ME doesn't detect it ). I can't figure it out either. |
