Actually a lot more simple than I first thought, but I can't think of anything I can do about it. It seems this new monitor cannot display anything less than 800 by 600 resolution, which seems absolutely ridiculous to me.. Messing with other programs where you can alter the resolution confirmed this.
So is there any way of getting Magic Engine to run at a higher resolution or am I going to have to have my lovely PC Engine games running in a horrible box?
Hope someone can help me with this.. |

You can set your ini file to the resolutions you like:
;
; fullscreen screen resolutions
; --
; custom screen resolutions to be used for the different
; PC-Engine video modes (256x224, 320x224, and 352x224)
;
; (by default a resolution of 640x480 is used for all the
; video modes)
;
res_256=1280,1024
res_320=1280,1024
res_352=1280,1024
Obviously you'll need to activate the Stretch Mode with such resolutions. |
