What games out of the old computers (C=64, Apple, Amiga, PCdos, Atari st, etc) would you think might be good or better on the PCE or Snes and MD? Whatever you think is best but stick to these 3 counsels.
I think some computer games that weren’t that great might have bin better or played better on counsels.
I’m not taking about a strait port but redesigned to work well on a game system.

I would have to say Montezuma's Revenge and Mask of the Sun for the old Apple II. I had a lot of fun playing those when I was 11 or 12 years old.

C-64 Fist 2:The Legend Continues, Legacy of the Ancients, The Legend of Blacksilver, Gemstone Warrior
AMIGA Barbarian II: The Dungeon of Drax, Gauntlet III: The Final Quest,
Darkmere, Heimdall 2: Into the Hall of Worlds

Gauntlet I think would be better on the MD

Atari 400 version of miner 2049'er. That version specificly, because it's sound fx were more abruptly violent sounding, thus really driving home the "OH SHIT i just got killed!!!!!" fear factor. That sinister blank smile on the miners face always made me chuckle as he was melting into a puddle of his own goo when he touched a radio active creature.

Archon for Apple ][ was near and dear to my heart. I'd love an updated version (with killer music) for the PCE.

Anyway, to get back on track:

1. BLOCK OUT (PC)-- I'd love this on the PCE, but given a really deluxe treatment.

2. Pipe Dreams (PC) -- This should come as no surprise from someone who has an undying love for Blodia/Timeball

3. Wasteland (Apple ][) -- PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a blast to play on the Apple ][.

NES: The original Hebereke (Ufouria in Europian Regions). I perfer my upcoming, unreleased-as-of yet ''Dub'' (as in Not a Real translation) for Hebereke until Someone can translate the real text, or I learn japanese

Enhanced graphics for it is a very good idea, The 4 main players and Enemies must look like a combo: NES style player outline and the coloring used in the SNES sequels of Hebereke if you do this. Don't use Ufouria, Use my Dub version that'll be released in RHDN soon.

I was thinking about the Amiga game Legend published by Mindscape. That really was an interesting game and the magic system was really interesting. A PCE version might be very interesting as the combat system was pretty simple anyway (despite the mouse driven interface!).

The version I have played came on 2 discs... so we are talking maybe a shade under 2mb.... Sound was simple but excellent (the bard's songs were genius!!) and assigning buttons to the combat and walking would make it more appealing I think....

Oh and of course.... Sensible World of Soccer! A pretty classy soccer game from Senisible Software, published by Renegade/Time Warner Interactive. A simple interface (directions/fire button do most things...) but devlish gameplay (ball sprite independent of player sprite so very rewarding when stringing passes together)

A throwaway choice but something to consider : -
Pinball Dreams/Fantasies

Very Happy
