i just got the pia carrot game today with the english patch. what i did was mount the game and ran it through magic engine fx. this is what i got...
the screen will stay like this making it unplayable. if any of you got it to work let me know. thanks! |

| The game works fine with Magic Engine FX. In fact this was the emulator that was used during development. Read the directions that are included with the patch file. Just make sure that the patch file itself is in the main Magic Engine FX directory and then load up the game. It will automatically soft patch the game, no need to hard patch an image of the game. |

If you just have magic engine, it wont work as Pia Carrot is a PCFX Game... so you would need to have Magic Engine FX.
I applied the patch to the game itself so that I could play it on real hardware and it works flawlessly...
Just make sure that if you are using an image, it is the same size as it is supposed to be... or perhaps your image file is corrupt...

bump
almost the same problem here, yes i'm using ME-FX. Mounted the game on DAEMON tools, placed the patch file inside the ME-FX folder, ran it, but the game doesn't want to start. |

| Try running the game without the patch (move the ppf somewhere else). If it still doesn't start then you may have a bad image or bad cuesheet. |
