Hey.
I'm sorry if this's a real newbie problem, but I'm having some issues with my sound. Hu card music plays fine, but audio from the cds only comes through my headphone port. The sound effects still come from my soundcard as normal, but I can't make the CD sound go to the same place. I'm running Win 2K, and would appreciate some help. If you need any other info, just let me know. Thanks! |

We really need a FAQ, it seems (^^;
In the meantime, feel free to browse through the posts in the Bug Report forum. This CD issue has already been discussed ad nauseam 
Most of the CD problems are mainly related to Windows XP (piece of *cough* junk, if you ask me). Have a look at the following thread for a good start:

I agree. I nominate you. 
Seriously, though, I wouldn't mind assisting in writing a FAQ.
And yes, it's probably the lack of an audio cable. It's been my experience that new brand-name PCs usually dont' have CD audio cables. You can get 'em at CompUSA (eww) or any small computer shop. |

I would like to mention, some users who have an external sound device such as the Xitel-A1 or an Extigy, may not get any music from their PCE CDs. Probably when ME supports Digital Audio. Meanwhile, check your audio cables and stick to the good old sound card.
I hope I can use my optical digital output with ME V 1.0. My audio system would make Lords Of Thunder sound incredible!
