David, about those "full motion" CD-ROM games :
Sherlock holmes 1 & 2
It came from the desert
They allmost work ok but the screen is 'stretched' in a weird way. They appear slow and probably even show some synch problems from what I remember on a real PCE. Im pretty sure these kind of games are harder to emulate than the others but I was just curious have any info regarding these?
Thanks in advance |

Sherlock Holmes appears stretched because it is in 512x224, which Magic Engine currently doesn't support. (Don't know whether ICFTD uses this mode or not, could be interesting.)
As for the choppy sound and the overall desync, it's about ME still having some serious problems with streaming PCM. Improvements are much needed in that domain. _________________ Kaminarimon HES Music Archive | Tokugawa Corporation | YouTube Channel |
