That s because you didn't set the proper drive Magic Engine must use in pce.ini. _________________

Just open up "Pce.ini" (located in the same folder as Magic Engine) with wordpad.
And just add the needed info:
Code: | # ----
# CD-ROM settings
# ----
[cdrom]
;
; CD-ROM drive
; --
; 0 -> first CD-ROM drive [default]
; 1 -> second CD-ROM drive
; ...
;
drive= Add correct value here
;
; CD-ROM drive letter
; --
; (Windows 2000/XP only)
;
; D:
; E:
; ...
;
drive_letter= Add correct letter here
|
If you add a WRONG value , then yes Magic Engine will freeze when you ll try to boot a cd. _________________

You shouldn't use both options simultaneously. Since you're running Win98, set the first option only (drive= ). NOT the second option (drive_letter= ). |
