I am having problems with all sound in all games. Some sound works in some areas. Some music works in some areas. Some dialogue works in some areas. An example is in Ys. The town theme plays, but when I go outside, there's just silence other than sound effects. I use the latest version of ME, and I've tried all of the cards. Can anyone out there help me? |

Galcian has two CD-ROMs: a Compaq DVD-ROM SR-8584A and a
Ricoh CD-R/RW MP7040A, along with Win ME as he said. He checked the drive letter in Magic Engine's config file to make sure it has the correct one.
- The DVD-ROM doesn't detect the games at all.
- The CD-RW does boot games successfully, but doesn't play music. The CD-RW also makes the Windows CD player open when a game is inserted. |

Most probably you need to connect your CD-RW to your sound card via an appropriate audio cable. |
