Multiple Xbox360 Controllers Not Working

I've got two wired xbox360 controllers hooked up to my Mac and both are functioning properly. I'm trying to get them both recognized correctly within MagicEngine.

Right now, in the gamepad config window it shows that I have 2 controllers plugged in because there is a tab for gamepad 1 and gamepad 2, but only one controller is being recognized for both gamepad 1 and 2.

I'm not sure what to do to get these working properly.
