Hi All...
Today I downloaded for first time Magic Engine 0.9.9 beta 5. It's really very very good. All my ROM files runs perfectly. Excellent work!
For sorting and keeping ordered my PCE/TG16 ROMs I use Offline List 0.7 It has data files about all available PCE ROMs, along GBA and GBC ones. This "ROM Manager" also can work as a "emulator front-end", so you can launch any game just double clicking it (be sure to check "Uncompress to emulator" for it to load properly)
I'd like to use windowed mode, but when I first started it, it said "Color depth must be 16 bits". Is there a way to use Windowed mode in 32 bits color depth? if not.... why not?
Also... is there a way to configure ME without having to manually edit PCE.INI file?
Thanks! _________________

i too had high hopes for offline list, unfortunately they seem to have based the pce dat on an old (pre name fixed) goodpce naming system.
hopefully this will be changed with the next dat release...
i don't think you can run ME in a window with your desk set to 32 colour mode, but maybe in the new release....?

32-bit window mode will work in the next release. And you'll be able to change the settings from the GUI. |
