Simply put, when Ys IV is about to load a certain cutscene, the screen fades out (which it's supposed to), but then it just stops, never loading anything. It just stays black.
This may have something to do with the fact that I'm not using the most recent version... v.99 beta 3, rather than beta 5, but herein lies another problem...
Whenever I download the new version of Magic Engine, it turns back into the 5-minute demo version. I've put my old registration entries into the folder, but that doesn't do it.
Any help I could get on either of these problems would be greatly appreciated. |

Please help , my pirated key stopped functioning with the new Magic Engine , what can i do ??
What about buying a fully legit license ?
Legend says it fix those issues.

| Geez. No, I truthfully bought Magic Engine back in 2001, and I actually did upgrade it once (to .99 demo beta 3 a little while back), which worked perfectly. That's why I'm so confused as to why it wouldn't upgrade again. |
