Hi,
I am having a problem running Magic Engine within MAMEWAH, a multi-emulator frontend. When running Magic Engine standalone I am able to play all games with no problem. However, if I attempt to launch Magic Engine and a game through MAMEWAH, I get erratic results. At first, I would only get the menu screen, and my gamepad was not working (I set it up in Magic engine prior to attempting to run it through MAMEWAH!) After fiddling with both Magic Engine's and MAMEWAH!'s settings, I can now run games properly, but only certain ones. Most of the others kick me to Magic Engine's menu like before. Still, a few others run, but with the "Demo Version" bar at the bottom.
I do not understand why running Magic Engine through the frontend would generate such inconsistent results. I should also mention that the ROMset I have is verified by GoodPCE v1.09a.
I would appreciate any help offered to me. Thank you in advance. |
