First of all, I'd like to heartily thank David for creating Magic Engine. Even though my Duo still works quite well, I usually end up using ME more than it. To put in some quick l337, w00t!
Now, about 1.0PR-x... So far I've had no problems with it, and my gamepad works great (but that may be because I'm using an older Sidewinder connected to the joystick port on my soundcard instead of a USB controller).
I was wondering about rapid fire. How do we enable it in this version? I can't even find an option on the configuration menu to do it, let alone map it to a button. Is it simply not an option right now? And if it isn't, do you plan on implementing it soon?
Thanks again,
Landis |

You can allways use joytokey (check Google). In the window where you select a keyboard event there is a slider called "Automatic Shooting" where you can enable turbo fire (or slow motion). Some (mostly minor) features are disabled in the preview versions because the code needs more debugging. You'll probably have to wait for the full ME 1.0 for rapid fire from the GUI. |

Groovy - at least I can be confident that it'll be back. In the meanwhile, it just makes a few games (or at least Bonk's Revenge) more challenging (which is usually a good thing anyway).
