First of all, congratulations on the new MagicEngine! The interface and options are very nice, and it's obvious a lot of hard work went into the new MagicEngine. Many thanks to David and Cedric for their improvements and diligent work.
I did encounter a few problems, but after briefly scanning the message boards, I see that I'm not the only one who had them. Unlike version 0.99, this one doesn't want to recognize my controller, which is a PlayStation 2 controller connected via a generic PSX/USB cable. I also got booted out of the program randomly (you know, the "we're sorry, but Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close" message), but I'm using XP, so it shouldn't be a surprise.
Of course, they said that a FINAL version will be out in one to two weeks, so hopefully those bugs will be hammered out then.  Overall, though, a very slick update...and I thought 0.99 was well made, but this new one appears to very likely have the slickest interface I've ever seen in an emulator! Keep up the good work!  |
