Ok, a lot of topics have at least one person who mentioned this, but a lot of people still act like ME is unplayable with the joystick errors, so this post is for them.
Download joy2key here: http://www.zophar.net/utilities/download/jtk374en.zip
Then make a new profile. Map up to the up arrow, down to the down arrow, ect.
Map button 1 to s, and button 2 to d (Or change it, depending on tastes)
Set your button th ethe pad you want for start to enter, and the select button to space.
Got any keys left? Map one to esc to get the main menu. One to f1 to save states. Ect. I use joy2key on almost all emulators, gives much more control and options, like save states ingame. _________________ Routers, Security, Delphi programming, and dirty jokes, all in one! |

JoyToKey is a godsend for emulators like Glidos and old DirectX games (ahem, TR2) that don't support more than four joystick buttons. A very, very essential tool for the vintage gamer. |

It's also great if you use C64 emulators. I used it to play the old GoldBox AD&D games, mapped the mjkh keys or whatever, so I could use the pad to move at angles without hitting my own people. Now all I need is somthing that can record keyboard\joystick macros that directInput can read. _________________ Routers, Security, Delphi programming, and dirty jokes, all in one! |
